Dennis P. Helmick, Program Chair, President and House Counsel of Exchange Facilitator Corporation, founded the firm in 1988. It was the first 1031 exchange company formed in Washington State. He has practiced commercial and real estate law for over 35 years.
Mr. Helmick served as a Board Member of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA), the national trade association representing exchange accommodators, for seven years. His commentary on exchanging appears in several nationally distributed books on exchanging as well as area newspapers and real estate periodicals. He is a state-certified instructor in real estate law and tax-deferred exchanges, and is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Washington State Bar.
Robert McGrouther is a Commercial Lending Officer at Luther Burbank Mortgage Corporation. In 2008, he was selected to open a new multi-family lending office and platform in Bellevue, Washington for Luther Burbank Savings, headquartered in Santa Rosa, California.
Prior to joining Luther Burbank, Mr. McGrouther was a Senior Loan Officer, Multi-Family Lending, with Wachovia Mortgage Corporation for two years and with World Savings in Oakland, California for nine years. He is a former Wachovia “Circle of Excellence” award winner, a ten-time World Savings “President’s Club” member, and a former member of the World Savings Portfolio Acquisition Team.
