David W. Green, Program Co-Chair, is a partner with Stoel Rives LLP. His primary area of practice is in real estate and financial transactions. His expertise covers the broad range of situations in which clients acquire, develop, finance, exchange, lease, operate and sell property. His prior practice included financial transactions for major lenders, leasing and acquisitions for regional and national retailers, formation of LLC’s and tax exempt title holding corporations.

Elaine R. Albrich is an attorney with Stoel Rives LLP, practicing in the Resources, Development and Environment practice groups where she focuses on land use, natural resources, permitting and urban and rural development.

Victoria D. Blachly, a partner with Samuels Yoelin Kantor Seymour & Spinrad LLP, is a civil trial attorney. She works on a wide range of litigation issues, with a primary focus on fiduciary litigation for individual trustees, corporate trustees, beneficiaries, and personal representatives.

Marc D. Blackman is a partner with Ransom Blackman LLP, focuses his practice in the area of criminal justice. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the past 25 years.

Hafez Daraee, Jordan Schrader Ramis PC, focuses his practice in the areas of securities litigation, mortgage and banking law and compliance, complex commercial, construction, and real estate litigation, as well as real estate and construction development and transactions.

Ronald G. Guerra is a partner with Jordan Schrader Ramis PC. His experience includes negotiating labor contracts, administering grievance and arbitration processes, presenting discrimination and supervisory training, conducting employment related investigations, and developing employee policies.

Steven Hedberg, a partner with Perkins Coie LLP, has 25 years of experience working with clients to solve complex commercial and economic issues related to insolvent companies. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been listed as an “Oregon Super Lawyer” by Oregon Law & Politics since its inception in 2006.

Jacob A. Heth, LLM, is a partner with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, focusing his practice on corporate and transactional matters securities, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and recapitalizations and corporate governance. He was previously Director of Legal Affairs for Hollywood Entertainment Corp.

Peter E. Heuser, a shareholder with Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt PC, has been practicing as an intellectual property attorney for over 30 years. He focuses his practice in the areas of patent prosecution and litigation of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and cybersquatting matters.

Helen M. Hierschbiel is Deputy General Counsel of the Oregon State Bar where, among other things, she regularly answers ethics questions from lawyers and writes ethics columns for the Oregon State Bar Bulletin. She started working at the Oregon State Bar in December 2003 in the Client Assistance Office where she screened complaints against lawyers.

Calvin L. Keith is a partner at Perkins Coie LLP where he manages the employment law practice in the Portland office. He has over 25 years of experience in employment law which includes multi-party and class action employment and wage and hour litigation, unlawful competition, trade secret and confidential information issues.

Jan K. Kitchel is a shareholder at Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt PC. He has tried cases in a large number of areas including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, products liability, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, premises liability, commercial transactions, business valuations, will contests, real estate disputes, and other probate disputes.

Matthew D. Larson, an attorney with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, assists clients in private securities offerings, public securities law compliance and liability. He also represents clients in mergers, stock and asset sales, and acquisitions and has experience in a wide range of business litigation.

Kendra M. Matthews is a partner with Ransom Blackman LLP. A substantial focus of her practice is appellate litigation. She also regularly represents individuals and entities in criminal investigations, and cases and professionals in disciplinary proceedings before licensing boards.

Roy Pulvers, a partner with Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, focuses on motions practice in litigation. He represents lawyers and law firms in matters related to legal ethics, professional responsibility and liability, and has served as counsel on appeals among the largest personal injury, antitrust and class action cases in Oregon.

Christopher L. Reive is a partner at Jordan Schrader Ramis PC. He regularly assists clients with environmental concerns, including risk management and allocation, waste management and disposal on job sites, obtaining insurance coverage, permitting and reporting to regulatory agencies, spill and release response, and worker safety.

Jeffrey D. Sapiro is Disciplinary Counsel for the Oregon State Bar. He is a member of the National Organization of Bar Counsel and a frequent speaker on professional responsibility and legal ethics. He is the author of the chapter concerning Oregon disciplinary procedures in The Ethical Oregon Lawyer (OSB CLE 2006).

Steven L. Shropshire is the managing shareholder at Jordan Schrader Ramis PC in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He concentrates his practice on water and natural resources law. He is a member of the boards of The Freshwater Trust and the Oregon Water Resources Congress.

Suzanne B. Taylor, CPA, joined Legacy Health System in 2006 as Director of Tax after 25 years in Public Accounting. She oversees all aspects of taxation for Legacy Health System including tax-exempt filings (form 990); taxable corporate filings; property tax exemption requests, tax filings and appeals; Washington Sales & Use and Business and Occupation Tax, pension plan and benefit issues and tax research.

Bradley F. Tellam is a partner at Stoel Rives LLP practicing primarily in the areas of employment law, complex litigation and appeals. In addition, he devotes significant time to legal ethics and professional responsibility issues and is among the preeminent legal ethics advisors in Oregon.
